**  6 years old and up may join the Center¡¦s annual Summer Youth camp on Tuesday and the afternoons of Mon, Wed, Thu, and Fri.

Upon the completion of each section, students will be able to

¡P        Understand classroom routines in Chinese and respond to simple classroom commands.

¡P        Exchange essential information such as greetings and leave-takings.

¡P        Exchange personal and family information while sharing family albums.

¡P        Learn Pin-Yin and four Chinese characteristic Mandarin tones. 

¡P        Count from 1 to 1000.

¡P        Tell time, day, week days, month, and year.

¡P        Recognize 50 commonly used Chinese characters and practice writing the Chinese characters by following the eight basic strokes rule of the Chinese Calligraphy.

¡P        Share likes and dislikes regarding various common objects and every day activities. Such as colors, food, pets, sports, games, etc.

¡P        Use directional complements to ask and clarify direction.

¡P        Express different ways of greeting and apologizing.

¡P        Talk about pictures of the 12 animals represented in the Chinese Zodiac.

¡P        Point out the major cities and famous places on a Chinese map.

¡P        Recite a Chinese Tong Twister.

¡P        Play Chinese chess or ¡¥Go¡¦ games.

¡P        Use chopsticks and learn Chinese table etiquette.

¡P        Practice Chinese Calligraphy and do paper folding.

¡P        Execute Lion Dance moves.

¡P        Play table tennis and participate the Chinese-In-Action Table Tennis Tournament.
