**  6 years old and up may join the Center¡¦s annual Summer Youth camp on Tuesday and the afternoons of Mon, Wed, Thu, and Fri.

Theme: I love Fu-Wa ¡V The Olympics mascot

Upon completion of each session, students will be able to

¡P        Understand classroom routines in Chinese and respond to simple classroom commands.

¡P        Exchange essential information such as greetings and leave-takings.

¡P        Exchange personal and family information while sharing family albums.

¡P        Count from 1 to 100. 

¡P        Name the simple measure words, such as a ¡§piece¡¨ of paper, etc.

¡P        Share likes and dislikes regarding various common objects and every day activities. Such as colors, food, pets,

¡P        Comprehend the main ideas and identify main characters in illustrated 2008 Olympics children¡¦s books.

¡P        Comprehend simple characters used in brief messages and notes on familiar topics.

¡P        Recite nursery rhymes and songs.

¡P        Recognize the Chinese cultural activities such as Lunar New Year Festival, Dragon Boat race, etc.

¡P        Make dumplings or egg rolls.

¡P        Make a Chinese lantern.

¡P        Execute Chinese Kung Fu basic moves, jump ropes, and Chinese Yo-Yo.

Note: All the topics in session II will be the same as session I, but the content will be partially modified and elaborated through some activity changes.
