Class time: Half day camp 9:00 a.m. ~ 12:30
Mon. Wed. Thurs. Fri.

Full camp 7:30 a.m. ~ 6:30 p.m.
Mon ~ Fri (including Field trip every Tuesday)
          

Price for a section: Half day camp $ 500
Full day camp $ 900
Registration Fee $25
Early register discount $15 (before 5/11)
Sibling discount 10% off

Program Goals: 

  • To foster appreciation and respect for Chinese culture.
  • To provide an introduction in Chinese language study.
  • To develop positive attitudes toward Chinese language learning.
  • To develop beginning level of Chinese listening, speaking, and communication skills.
  • To build a foundation and confidence in long term Chinese study.

 Language Goals: 

  • Acquire basic pinyin and five tones (Chinese phonics) knowledge. 
  • Identify important Chinese character components.
  • Use basic sentence patterns in daily life conversations.
  • Follow teacher’s instruction and respond accordingly in Chinese.
  • Develop commonly used Chinese vocabulary skill.

The story is adapted to easy-structured Chinese version of script. Students will need to understand each other’s lines, memorize their own lines, make stage prop, and be able to perform in the Achievement Show.
