To commemorate the “Year of the Dog,” renowned Houston
artist Mr. Zhang Yao Wu has created a 19 x 23-inch framed masterpiece
featuring a golden retriever. This beautiful oil painting showcases a
unique combination of East and West, as the lifelike dog wears both a
traditional gua pi mao (watermelon cap) and a cowboy-style
bandanna.
This framed commemorative painting will be available to
the public through a special auction. All proceeds will support the
Chinese Community Center’s educational, cultural, and social service
programs.
