CCC… Builds Strong Relationships
When the United Way of Greater Houston approached CCC with a group interested in volunteering through Days of Caring, we were excited by the opportunity. On August 3, 2011 Texas Instruments visited and completed many projects including repainting our Childcare’s safety pathway, new Wellness Center’s waiting room and holding a computer class for our Seniors to learn basic skills. From this one day arose a fruitful partnership that sees 4-5 TI employees who give up their personal time one Saturday a month to visit the Center and continue the lessons. Classes have become a much enjoyed monthly tradition for the 10-15 seniors who frequent the class to learn more about the Microsoft Suite, email, internet, and more!
