Chinese-In-Action Summer Camp

Back

The Chinese-In-Action program is a Chinese language and culture learning summer program for youths from non-Chinese speaking families. This premier Chinese language immersion program, exposes students to the true essence of the Chinese language by immersing them in the art and culture of the people.  Instructors use edutainment¡X (educational entertainment) fun and games to make extraordinary progress with their students, they use the fun factor to make language learning last.

CCC began as a Chinese language school 29 years ago, to assists new Chinese immigrants arriving in America. Over the years CCC expanded the agency to become the biggest Asian-led social services center in Texas, serving more than 7,000 Asian families and Southwest Houston residents

Today, the Chinese Language School serves 720 of students each year. The Chinese Language and Culture training at CCC combines state-of-art curriculum with a rich Chinese culture & arts content to bring the language alive, and fun for students to learn.

2nd Language Standards and Teaching Methodology provide age-appropriate Chinese language training and cultural activities to three specific groups: Pre K -2nd grade; 3rd through 5th grade; and 6th through 12th grade. The program culminates on July 25th with a student assessment, program presentation, and table tennis tournament.
