ˇ@Donˇ¦t know any Chinese? No problem!
The camp is designed to introduce the Chinese language and culture to ˇ§Newbies.ˇ¨
Students with no Chinese background or previous knowledge about Chinese will be
culturally enriched by their experience with China-theme activities. There are
interesting and exciting topics in the weekly curriculum. Students will learn
colors, body parts, numbers, and family members. They will learn to talk about
many fascinating subjects by the end of the section.
Chinese Pal helps you to immerse in the Chinese Culture and the language.
One thing that you can only find in our camp is that each student will have a
ˇ§Chinese Pal.ˇ¨ A Chinese Pal is like a mentor, but more. Chinese Pals will
accompany the student and/or family after the class to immerse themselves in the
Chinese community where the language comes alive.
Our kids learn through edutainment.
The camp is a fun-filled program, consisting of intensive language classes, and
various cultural activities, including Martial Arts, Paper Cutting, Lion Dance,
Chinese Pals and Chinese Heritage Tours to name a few.
There are two sections for pre-school groups and elementary groups: Section I
6/9~6/27, and Section II 7/7~7/25. Students can choose to attend a half-day camp
or a full-day camp. For more information regarding our program, please contact
at 713-271-6100 X 160 Ms. Bonnie Wei.
